Ethical guidelines

Authors

Originality

Authors undertake to submit original work. All citations must follow APA 7 referencing standards. In the event of plagiarism detection, the journal has the possibility to publish an erratum and/or remove the article from the journal and/or ban the author from future publication in the journal.

Authorship and collaboration

Authorship is limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, realisation, execution or interpretation of the research. Individuals who only participated in certain aspects of the research project or who submitted an article should be mentioned as collaborators in a footnote.

All authors and co-authors must have been informed and have agreed to submit the work.

Reviewers

Function

It is the reviewer's responsibility to judge whether or not the article should be accepted for publication in the journal. The reviewer must analyse: originality, suitability for the identity of the journal and/or the thematic dossier, methodology, scientific rigour, topicality and relevance of the theoretical framework adopted.

Confidentiality

The evaluation should be blind. The documents sent, and in particular the articles to be evaluated, remain confidential. The evaluator must not show or discuss the article with other people, or divulge anything before it is published. If his or her opinion proves to be in the minority compared with the other blind reviews, he or she must maintain the same confidentiality regarding any comments he or she may make on the publication of the article being reviewed.

Skills

If the reviewer does not feel qualified to review the article, he/she should reply to the editor as soon as he/she has access to the email request. If the reviewer recognizes the author of the text, he/she must withdraw from the review process.

Feedback to authors

Reviewers should send their comments to the issue editors, who will then contact the authors.

Submitting an article

Reviewers may submit articles to the journal in the same way as any other author, subject to the same rules and standards.

Editors

Publication

The editorial team is responsible for the integrity and fairness of the review process.

Confidentiality

The editors and all members of the editorial team undertake not to divulge any information about the manuscripts submitted.

Publication

The editors must inform the authors of the volume of the journal in which the article will be published.

Conflicts of interest

The editors will refuse to assume responsibility for manuscripts with which they have a conflict of interest due to competitive, collaborative or other relationships or ties with authors, companies or institutions linked to the manuscripts.

Participation and cooperation in complaints

Publishers take the necessary steps when ethical complaints have been made about a published manuscript or article.
